The Deposit: A deposit equivalent to one lesson shall be required with your first payment, and we will hold this deposit until you formally stop lessons. If a lesson is missed which is not paid for within the provisions of this policy, the deposit will be used to pay for that lesson, and another deposit will be required to resume lessons. If two weeks pass after the missed lesson and another deposit is not received, we will no longer be able to reserve your lesson time.
Instruction time is based upon the time you reserve, so be sure to make the best use of your time. We encourage you to arrive early and use an unoccupied room, if available, to review your lesson, tune up, warm up, etc. On the other hand, if you arrive five minutes late, there is no way to make that time up, and if you miss your lesson altogether without prior notice, well, you missed your lesson. It’s better to be early, and give us as much notice as possible if you will be late or unable to attend.
Scheduling, Cancellations, and Rescheduling: We suggest that you begin with one half-hour lesson every week. When you feel comfortable with your level of progress and the pacing of the lessons, you may customize your schedule as you see fit, scheduling an hour or more each week, or lessons every two weeks. We will be happy to schedule whatever you will gain the most from. Whatever you choose, scheduling and payment shall be taken care of at the end of one month in anticipation of the coming month. Any lessons you or the instructor anticipate missing will be noted at that time and the payment will be adjusted accordingly.
If any sudden emergency arises and you cannot make your scheduled lesson, please call us as soon as possible and we will make every effort to reschedule it. Please understand, however, that we cannot guarantee that it will be rescheduled, nor can we reimburse you or credit you for missed lessons. However, we give up to one month to reschedule any missed lessons that have already been paid for.
Another way to look at your scheduling is to think of your monthly payment as a commitment to the lessons you intend to take in the coming month. At the same time, the instructor’s acceptance of that payment is his or her commitment to give you that amount of lesson time. Should the instructor have to miss a scheduled lesson, it will be made up or credited to the following month.
Liability: Coyote Music, Inc., and its instructors shall not be responsible for any personal items left on the premises, nor are we responsible for any personal injury that may occur on our premises.
These prices and policies are effective until further notice, and we will make every effort to give as much advance notice as possible should any increase become necessary.
The Online Schedule
In order to make scheduling as easy as possible, each month’s schedule will be posted online at www.TheCoyote.org/. The schedule is regularly updated as students come and go, and as changes to the schedule occur. Reminders that the new schedule is posted, and to check the online schedule, are sent out by email on a regular basis. If you do not receive email, the schedule can be printed out for you.
