The Sound Symphony Orchestra will perform an outstanding concert to kick off its 2019-2020 concert season. Selections include Beethoven’s Namensfeier Overture, the powerful Still Afro-American Symphony (with yours truly on banjo for the third movement!), and Saint-Saëns’ Violin Concerto #3, featuring Dexter Doris, a 2019 Sound Symphony Solo Competition Winner. The Sound Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Dorothy Savitch, has been bringing beautiful music to Long Island for over 36 years. The performance will be held at Comsewogue JFK Middle School, 200 Jayne Blvd, Port Jefferson Station.

Tickets are $15.00 for general admission and $10.00 for seniors and students. Children under 12, Veterans, and Active Military are admitted free with identification. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
